Chapter 12
I writhe around trying to get to the surface, but I can't. I'm slowly losing oxygen and I can feel the burning in my lungs. So this is how I'll go. I'm about to give in and breath when I feel arms wrap around my torso, and pull up. My head breaks the surface, and I gulp for air. Who ever it is, brings me to the shore, and lays me down. "Cullen?" I hear. I try to sit up, but get light headed. "Hon, don't move." I listen to the voice, and lay down again. My head is pounding, although that may be my heart. I can't tell the difference. "Cullen, what happened?" I can see Beau, Luke , and Jai on my sides and everyone else about ten yards away. "I- I couldn't," I say, but I can't say more. I've been here only like a month and i have almost died. Great. I take short choppy breaths, and when they decide that I can sit up, Jai and Beau lean me on Luke. By this time everyone has left, and it's just is four. Luke wraps his arms around my waist, and the boys sit down next to me. "Why did you do that?" Luke asks, looking down at me. "I-I don't know," I say, turning away from him, and looking at Beau. "C-can I get my cloths a-and a blanket?" I ask him softly. "Sure babe," Beau says, standing up, and heads toward the dock, while Jai goes to get a blanket from the car. "You shouldn't have done that," Luke says. "But I did, thank you." He looks at me oddly,"for what?" "Saving me." I say, looking up at him. He slowly leans towards me. He's gonna kiss me. His lips press gently against mine. I know it isn't right, but I don't pull away. I put my hands on his legs, and suddenly he pulls away. I move my head to where I can see Beau running back with my cloths. "This never happened," I say quietly. "O-okay," he says, I can't see his face but I can tell he isn't very happy, he's hurt, but I can't do anything about it now. "Here ya go," Beau says handing me my cloths. I slowly push myself up off of Luke and take my cloths. Beau helps me stand, as I put my cloths back on. When there back on my body, he helps me back to Luke. Seconds after I lay back down, Jai comes back with a blanket. "Here, sorry I took so long, I couldn't find it." I laugh, and they gingerly wrap it around me. "Thank you," I say, to all of them, and I hear them mumble their responses as I drift to sleep.

So my school put on throughly modern Millie like last month and now we get to do it for our whole school... 3 times... Once for the 6th graders second for the 7th graders and finally for the 8th graders... I'm really excited but I don't wanna have the guy I like laugh at me... Ugh! Oh well I had fun the frat two times so it'll be fine
